Why we made it

We wanted a sunscreen that protects like SPF and feels like skincare. Too many mineral sunscreens feel dry, heavy, or leave a strong chalky cast. This formula was made to be different: portable, moisturizing, reef-safe, and easy to wear every day.

This sunscreen comes in a rich balm format—it needs a little warmth to work its magic.

1. Scoop & warm. Use your fingertip or the back of your nail to scoop a small amount from the tin. Rub it between your palms for a few seconds until it softens and melts.

2. Apply generously. Smooth evenly over all exposed skin—face, neck, ears, and body. For full SPF 30 coverage, use about two finger-lengths for your face and a golf ball–sized amount for your body.

3. Let it set. Give the balm a minute or two to absorb and form its protective layer before heading outside.

4. Reapply often. Reapply every two hours, or immediately after swimming, sweating, or toweling off. While the balm format is water-resistant, no sunscreen lasts forever.

5. Don't skip overcast days. Up to 80% of UV rays pass through clouds. If you're outside, you need SPF — rain or shine.

Tips:

• In cooler weather, the balm will feel firmer—just warm it a bit longer between your palms.
• In warmer weather, it softens naturally and spreads even easier.
• A little goes a long way. Start with less and build up coverage as needed.
